  The world is entering a new age of technology, and the Smart Sensors and Integrated Microsystems (SSIM) Program at Wayne State University is blazing the trail. Located on the campus of a major, urban research institution, the program and its researchers are developing novel materials, methods and prototype devices for everything from automotive, environmental and biomedical applications to advances in energy, communications and aerospace technology.
